As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in our growth and expansion. You will be at the forefront in identifying and developing strategic business opportunities, driving market expansion, and fostering key partnerships. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and direct outreach.
- Independently identify and qualify potential clients and build a strong sales pipeline.
- Develop and execute compelling sales strategies to secure new business and exceed targets.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales, with a focus on new client acquisition.
- Proven ability in achieving sales targets and KPIs
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads and convert them into closed deals.
- Proven ability to drive new sales: prospecting, qualifying customers’ needs and expectations by delivering presentations, qualifying concerns, and closing.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain business relationships with prospective customers to generate new business.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends, with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Director of Human Resources
ROLE OVERVIEW
As Director of Human Resources, you will support management in the overall delivery of human resource services, policies, and programs. You will provide support to both managers and employees in a non-unionized manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define a strategic vision for human resources to achieve organizational goals.
- Develop and implement strategies and action plans to manage, attract, and retain talent, focusing on job satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies and action plans for training, development, career management, succession planning, and knowledge retention.
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process for new employees and in the management of employee departures.
- Contribute to the review of total compensation while ensuring equity principles are followed.
- Participate in the payroll process.
- Support management and supervisors, particularly regarding legal matters, disciplinary management, and the development of management skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Industrial Relations.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in HR management.
- In-depth knowledge of HR tools and processes,
- An understanding of labor law and human rights.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to build positive interpersonal relationships.
- Analytical mindset to identify issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Participatory leadership and emotional intelligence.
- Member of the CRHA (Order of Human Resources Professionals) – an asset.
- Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now payroll system – an asset.
